We had a terrific experience with this purchase. Both from Hydeline the manufacturer, and from Metropolitan, the delivery service that brought it to our home. The "white glove" delivery that it came with meant they brought it inside our house, placed it in the room we wanted, unwrapped it, attached the cushions (the back ones remain in place with velcro) and took away the box, wrappings etc in the space of about 8 minutes. This was in full pandemic mode so the delivery folks wore masks and even shoe covers. The hardest part was waiting for the sofa to arrive - it took a few weeks - but it was completely worth it.
It's big, 96 inches wide but now it's possible to stretch out and have a nap on a Sunday afternoon. It's comfy - soft in all the right places, but substantial and easy to get in and out of. We expect this to last 20+ years and it fits great with our Arts and Crafts style decor, really ties the room together. I think it's very reasonable for the price and quality.
Yessi at Metropolitan was very kind, organized and efficient. She double checked my phone number and read it back to me, she kept me posted on the delivery date/time as it was pushed back once (due to Covid tying everything up). Johanna at Hyline was persistent in reaching me and when we connected she gave me Metropolitan's direct number in case I had further questions. That was very helpful since once I ordered the transaction with them was complete - but she wanted me to get the best and latest information from their delivery partner.
