Hydeline® Warranty Information and Claims Procedure:

All Hydeline® products are covered by a limited warranty, applicable to defects in products utilized exclusively for personal, family, or household purposes by the original purchaser. This warranty excludes rental, business, commercial, or institutional uses.

Damages resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, or abnormal use are not covered.

In the event of a warranty claim, Hydeline® has the right to attempt repair before replacement. If a professional licensed and contracted independent third-party furniture repair company, following inspection and installation of parts or on-site repair, cannot restore the products to original manufacturer specifications, Hydeline® may replace the item with the same item or an item of equal or lesser value. If the customer denies repair services, all current and future warranty claims will be denied. If the customer deems the repair unsuccessful but the furniture technician provides documentation of a successful repair, the technician's report shall take precedence.

Specific warranty periods for different components are as follows:

  • Frames have a limited warranty against manufacturing faults and defects for 10 years from the date of purchase.
  • Metal reclining/inclining mechanisms and springs have a limited warranty against manufacturing faults and defects for 5 years from the date of purchase.
  • Electric motors have a limited warranty against manufacturing faults and defects for 3 years from the date of purchase.
  • Electrical components and electrically operated lifting and rolling mechanisms have a limited warranty against manufacturing faults and defects for 1 year from the date of purchase.
  • Padding and foam have a limited warranty against defects for 1 year from the date of purchase under normal domestic use.
  • Leather has a limited warranty against defects for 1 year from the date of purchase under normal domestic use. Soiling, fading, wrinkling, and creasing arising from negligence, misuse, accidents, and improper cleaning are not construed as defects. All leather has natural wrinkles and slight color, texture, and grain variations; it is these very characteristics that enhance the overall appeal of premium leather and are not construed as defects.

Hydeline® covers reasonable labor charges for one year from the purchase date.

The company's obligation is limited to repairing or replacing, at its discretion, any part or parts of the product found to be defective in material or workmanship. If returning the product to the factory for repairs is necessary, the cost of packing, brokerage, and shipping to and from the factory is not covered under the warranty.

All warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase and clear pictures of the product ID (found at the bottom of the seat). The claimant must submit a written report along with pictures showing the front and side views of products and defects from a minimum of three different angles. The nature of the problem and the actual size of the defect should be clearly stated in the claim. Send all necessary information by email, and Hydeline® reserves the right to request the return of defective parts. The warranty does not cover pick-up, inspection, cartoning, and freight charges.
